We can provide a variety of one, or two-day workshops anywhere in the UK or internationally. We can also offer a tailor-made package to suit your clients or offer you one of our standard packages. These are our standard packages:
Two Day Zero to Hero Tellington TTouch course
This course is our most popular course, designed to take clients from beginner to intermediate over the two days. We pack a lot into this course, that combines, theory, seminars and practical session. Within the course, we will have plenty of time to learn a number of touches, learn about groundwork and free work, how to observe dogs, dog body language and using body wraps. There are also powerpoint presentations on tension patterns, positive training, a loose lead walking seminar and much more. The course is suitable for up to 12 participants with or without dogs. We do need some dogs to operate the course.
Full Day Introduction to Tellington TTouch Course
This is a one-day Introduction to TTouch day that will give you the tools to start using the work on your dog/s. We will cover observation/body language skills, bodywork, wraps and helping dogs not to pull on the lead, using TTouch leading techniques, groundwork, and the confidence course. There will be two powerpoint presentations as part of the course. No TTouch experience is necessary to take this course and it is as suitable for pet owners who wish to use TTouch with their own pets as it is for those professionally involved with dogs, including trainers, vet nurses dog walkers etc. This course can also be very helpful to people working in the rescue world and want to incorporate TTouch into their day to day dog management programme. This course is suitable for up to 10 participants with or without dogs. We do need some dogs to operate the course.
Full Day Intermediate TTouch course.
This is a follow-on course for anyone who has attended an introduction TTouch workshop. They do not need to have attended one of our courses as long as they have attended a TTouch course and have some experience of the work. In this course, we will develop our observation skills, increase our portfolio of touches and learn wraps and groundwork in more depth. We will also introduce the use of ropes into the TTouch groundwork and learn about and use Freework. The course includes a power point presentation. This course is suitable for up to 10 participants with or without dogs. We do need some dogs to operate the course.
Half Day Tellington TTouch Taster Course.
This is a short course ideal for people who want a quick introduction to TTouch and do not have the time to take the full-day course, we cover observation skills, bodywork, wraps and helping dogs not to pull on the lead, using TTouch leading techniques. There will be a powerpoint presentation as part of the course. No TTouch experience is necessary to take this course. This course is suitable for up to 10 participants with or without dogs. We do need some dogs to operate the course. It is only cost-effective to offer this course locally, in Central London to tacked on to teaching a longer course.
Our clients have included pet owners, vets, agility and flyball competitors, sled dog mushers, show dog people, vets, vet nurses, manager and staff from rescues, dog walkers and sitters, canine masseurs, canine physiotherapists, professional dog trainers, and behaviourists.
The cost of teaching is £250.00 per day plus travel, food and accommodation costs (unless we can be accommodated). We would also provide a small shop of suitable equipment for sale.
£45.00 per person for the taster course
£75.00per person for the Introduction to TTouch course
£80.00 per person for an intermediate course
£175.00 per person for the two-day course

We will provide marketing support, via an e-newsletter to over 9,000 people and marketing on our Facebook page that has over 27,000 Likes. The event would also be promoted on the Xtra Dog training website.
Alex Wilson, who is a certified Tellington TTouch Practitioner (P1), a student member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (UK) and a certified Pro Dog Trainer Depending on the location a student practitioner may assist Alex teaching the course.
Our practitioner is insured to teach in the UK, however, If teaching outside of the UK the host is responsible for arranging suitable public liability and professional indemnity insurance, as this cannot be arranged from the UK.
