Linda Reader (P)
Practitioner (P1) – United Kingdom
Linda specialises in individual consultations along the south coast and via online sessions. She also provides expert guidance to professional groomers looking to integrate TTouch techniques into their grooming practice.
Linda’s connection with dogs began in her Australian childhood, growing up with an Australian Terrier and Scotch Collies. Later, in her native Tasmania, she shared her life with a Border Collie and competed in sheepdog trials, deepening her understanding of canine intelligence and connection.
Following her move to the UK, Linda became guardian to a Collie x Poodle and four Standard Poodles. A challenging grooming experience with her Collie mix in 2010 sparked a career change. She trained as a City and Guilds Level 3 Pet Stylist and went on to compete in grooming competitions, including at Crufts with her Poodles. Linda established a successful grooming business and spent three and a half years teaching at a leading UK grooming college.
Her dedication to compassionate, force-free grooming methods and her desire to truly understand dogs drew her to Tellington TTouch in 2020, leading to her certification as a Tellington TTouch® Practitioner. Linda is also a certified dog trainer with a Level 3 qualification in dog behaviour, and remains committed to staying current with the latest research and best practices in canine car.
